Dr.
Kerluke and his
staff regularly attend training courses and
symposia to keep abreast of the newest trends and
developments.
Dr. Kerluke also teaches other surgeons the
surgical techniques he uses. Most surgery is performed on an
out-patient basis, but for longer surgery sometimes an
overnight stay is recommended by
Dr. Kerluke.
You will
receive comprehensive written instructions to answer
commonly asked questions prior to your surgery. Our staff
will provide you with full assistance. The choice of general
or local anesthesia is made in consultation with
Dr. Kerluke.
The type of anesthesia used is determined by both procedure
and by your preference. Immediately following your surgery,
you will stay in our recovery room with nursing care until
you are ready to go home.
You will
go home the same day as your surgery. If you are from out of
town, you will be provided with accommodation options in our
area.
Complete
written instructions will be given to you for your
post-operative period.
